OlatheLive! Concert w/ The Gibson Brothers

What a privilege and a pleasure it is to be sharing a stage with none other than The Gibson Brothers as part of the OlatheLive! concert series in September. Here's what the world has to say about these two:

"...bluegrass superstars" ~ The New York Times

“They have it all: lead vocals, brother-duet harmony,
instrumental virtuosity, ensemble sensibilities, and great original material." ~ Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine

"...when I hear someone like the Gibson Brothers, I know it’s them from the first note. They have that little thing in their voices that no one else has..." ~ Del McCoury

Live at The Pilgrim Chapel: John Statz, Kelly Hunt, & John Keck

I am very excited to be sharing an evening of song with John Statz & fellow KC singer-songwriter John Keck at The Pilgrim Chapel on Sat. Apr. 28th!

"One of the more prolific and hard-working young songwriters working in the Americana genre, John Statz has released seven studio albums, and performed all over North America (including Canada and Mexico) and Europe, all in just a shade over a decade. Throughout that time he’s been writing the kind of songs that float through your mind and stay nestled in your thoughts long after listening (American Songwriter) and it’s been said that his songwriting can stand beside the best and above the rest (No Depression)."

KKFI Band Auction on River Trade Radio

Stas' Heaney will be joining me for a live-in-studio performance on the much-beloved "River Trade Radio" show, Sunday, Apr. 8th at 9:30 am. This performance will be part of the annual "KKFI Band Auction," an "on-air music festival" featuring over 50 of Kansas City's favorite local music acts.

How it works: donors are invited to bid on a musical act of their choosing by calling into the station during their on-air performance.. The highest bidder for each musical act wins a 2 hr. performance by the featured musicians sometime within the upcoming year. This wonderful event is brought to you by 90.1 KKFI and sponsored by Stockyards Brewing Co.!
